And I kind of think is pretty cute and ‘40s and chic and would look dulicious with a punchy red lip and some winged liner and a crisp white shirt with an elegant little collar. Kind of Pearl Harbour style. And holy hairspray so EASY to do! I created it while writing an email and talking on the phone and painting my nails vampire colours! Really! (Not really. Lie.) Anyway. Kim Kardashian makes me re-think side-swept hair.

Which isn’t to say I’m over it because she has single-handily destroyed it for all of us, but Kim’s version of it has made re-consider if it’s as universal as I thought it was. Now, as you know, Yas and I have been championing the deep-side part - both the chic ‘40s version and the disco ‘80s version - for months. I wear it at least once a week and find it to be a delightful hairstyle in general for my collarbone length, curly hair.... more
