It’s all very well to constantly talk about Famous Types who do great hair and makeup, giving them virtual salutes and hyperbole-laden write-ups, but sometimes we have to focus on those who definitely did their hair and makeup… but kept doing it for about 25 minutes after they should’ve stopped, like when your friends are running late to pick you up to go out, and you keep toying with your eye shadow and hair in the mirror until it looks a bit, uh, overcooked.
