Oscars: Sandra Bullock, Cameron Diaz and Rachel McAdams EXACT lipstick shades revealed
And it’s very serendipitous which type of lipstick they all wore because it’s the new Chanel Rouge Coco, which goes on sale Monday, and is, I think, (and at risk of copping wrath from die hard Rouge Allure fans) Chanel’s finest lipstick yet. The criteria for such a bold statement? It’s lightweight, comfortable, sheer but very buildable and the colours are REAL fresh and I believe a wonderful lipstick for those previously only interested in lip gloss. (The one downside is that some of the shades have a hint of frosty.) Plus, it looks rad when you pull it out of your handbag. Let’s be honest.
The face of Rouge Coco is Miss VANESSA PARADIS, who is simply adorable, chic as and of course, married to one JOHNNY DEPP. It’s telling they chose such an elegant little cutie to be the face of this lipstick, I think - the feel of the colours and the advertisement and the lipstick is very flirty and fresh and makes-me-want-to-wear-pink-lipsticky. Especially compared to their bold, dramatic red lipstick campaigns of the past.

Anyway, so Rouge Coco was all over the Oscars like white on rice. Here’s who was wearing it:
She Who Won The Big One, Miss SANDRA BULLOCK, who wore one of my top three shades in the range, Paris. (Watch that shade sell out like a sportsman pushing Nike.)
...Then there was Miss DIAZ, who despite her not-that-great hair, had great lips. Phew. She wore Rouge Coco in Lotus Rouge, a vibrant orangey red....
...And finally, there was Miss RACHEL McADAMS, sassing Rouge Coco in Rose Comete, which is a faintly goldy-nude.
My pick of the Rouge Coco collection (which is grouped into reds, pinks, beiges and browns, cost $50 and go on sale Monday) would be either Paris, or Mademoiselle or the coral-ish one, Sari Dore.
Which red rug walker gave the best lip in your opinion?

I’ve been trying to convince myself $50 is a reasonable price to pay for a lipstick since I saw the ad in Vogue at the start of the week. What’s the name of the colour that Vanessa is wearing in the ad?

There goes half my next pay package haha I like the shade thats 1 down, 1 to the right of the centre. As for whos lippy looked the best? Im going to go with Sandra Bullock, she looks amazing!

I heart Vanessa Paradis too - her and Johnny are so divine together. Almost as good as Johnny and Kate!
I loved Sandra’s pink the mostest and need to investigate this Coco biz.
