Makeup How To: Camilla Belle’s silver-lined, smoky eye

Our obsession with Camilla Belle is not new, but when she continues to look so darn amazing, we can’t help but comment. This time round it was her smoky eye that caught our attention. With subtle grey eye shadow, a defining rim of black eyeliner and a pop of silver-coloured liner on the lower lashes, she looked as stunning as ever.

Here she is at the Audi Pre-Oscar Party held on February 28th in West Hollywood:

Step 1: Camilla’s skin looks luminous and glowy so make sure you use a sheer foundation like Max Factor Sheer Radiance Liquid Shimmer Foundation, $34.95. You can also get a light, subtle glow by mixing a product like The Body Shop Tinted Glow Enhancer, $25.95 in with your regular foundation. Nifty huh?

Step 2: Reach for a black eyeliner and take it across the upper lash line, and across the ridge of your lower lashes.

Step 3: Start creating the smoky eye with a little Nars Single Eye Shadow in Thunderball, $48. Focusing the colour away from the inner corner of your eye, sweep the dark grey hue across your lids, blending up towards the crease.

Step 4: Next, take the Nars Eyeliner Pencil in London, $48 and draw a line below your lower lashes, from the inner corner to the centre of the eye only. This shiny silver pencil is what makes Camilla’s eye pop. It’s simply gorgeous.

Step 5: Camilla is wearing falsies so pop some in if you have the time. Otherwise, give your lashes a few coats of a lengthening mascara, followed by a thickening one. This will give you the desired combo of long and voluminous lashes. Awesome.

Step 6: Give your cheeks a subtle peachy glow with Nars Blush in Amour, $62.  A little on the apples of your cheeks will do the trick.

Step 7: Finish with a nude gloss like Nars Lip Lacquer in Chelsea Girls, $58.
