Well Primpers, Napoleon Perdis has certainly done a smashing job creating makeup looks at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival in Brisbane. So much so, that I just had to show you another of his masterpieces for the pretty pastel makeup trend that’s hijacking catwalks at the moment. Using plum and pink tones, the result is romantic and warm makeup with a hint of drama thanks to the smoky, hazy eye and rosy flushed cheeks. Miss Jolie’s film Salt is taking her all over the place and I just want to give her makeup artist a sloppy kiss and the pay rise she deserves. It’s been aaaaages since Angie mixed up her makeup and I’m loving it Primpers. From red lips in Russia to a barely there look in LA, the mum of six stepped out in London wearing a silver frock, blow-dried locks and a smoky eye with false lashes. Hurrah! I love this time of year Primpers. I countdown the days before the Spring/Summer Collections walk-off between Myer and DJ’s, and as usual, I wasn’t disappointed. It was a battle between the clothes, the celeb models and the makeup. Recruiting ridiculously amazing makeup artist Alex Box (she’s the Creative Director for cult makeup brand Illamasqua), Myer’s models strutted the catwalk with a look that can only be described as smoky, glitzy and 100 per cent glam. Might be a bit much for Friday night drinks but hey, we think it’s fab. ... more
