Dr Lewinn’s says: ‘Old can wait’. I say: ‘Heck yeah it can’.
Because looking old before your time really isn’t something us chickies want, is it? Hell no. We’re happy to grow old, but we just want to look a somewhat youthful while we’re on the journey. But how? Enter Dr Lewinn’s and their effective anti-ageing skincare ranges.
Dr Lewinn’s? Isn’t that a brand my mother uses? Well she may do, but Dr Lewinn’s caters to the younger crowds, too, y’know. (And that even includes the boys.) But before we talk products, let’s take a little peek at their new ad campaign which features their straight to the point, we’re not letting old kick us around, motto, OLD CAN WAIT. The aim of the new campaign is to introduce, or reintroduce, the brand to younger ladies like us. The adverts are modern and fresh and most definitely cheeky. Let’s check them out:
Here is the OLD CAN WAIT image, which represents the entire Dr Lewinn’s range…

…and the Line Smoothing Complex range:

The Ultra 4 range…

…and one for the boys: The Men’s range:

And lastly, the Puressence range:

Ha ha! I got you! That isn’t one of their adverts, that’s me, silly! The lovely folks at Dr Lewinn’s allowed me to be a silly goose and come up with my own motto and shoot a faux ad campaign. Fun times, Primps. And yes, I’m totally kicking old’s butt to the curb. He doesn’t stand a chance.
Now that you’ve perved at the new campaign (which is totally awesome, huh?), I want to tell you about Puressence, which is my favourite range from the brand. Here’s a pic:

This range is specifically designed for ladies in their 20’s, Primps, and with continuous use, it aims to delay the signs of ageing by 5 years. Yes, FIVE YEARS! Want to look 25 when you’re 30? Of course you do. So go ahead and slap (okay, gently apply) this range to your face, now.
The range includes the Foaming Cleanser, $29.95, the Purifying Masque, $34.95, the Day & Night Fluid, $49.95 and the Eye Gel, $39.95. I’m currently using the whole range and loving it. The Day & Night Fluid soaks into my skin before you can even say ‘ageing sucks’ and the brilliant little Eye Gel has given my eye area a lovely luminous finish and reduced a heck of a lot of puffiness. And as well as aiming to stop premature ageing in its tracks, the range contains peptide P3 which helps to maintain the skin’s radiance, and Veanuceane which will knock the living daylights out of free radicals. Impressive, huh?
So tell me…
What do you think of the new ad campaign?
Have you used Dr Lewinn’s before?
Does the Puressence range sound like something you’d like to try?

I have loved loved loved Dr Lewinn’s skincare for years and was stoked when they brought out the Puressence range a few years ago! I got my mother and all of her friends onto the ranges for older skin and they all love it.

I have used the Puressence eye gel and LOVED it! Vogue sent me a La Clinica eye cream with my last subscrition which I am still using, otherwise I’d be using the Puressence right now. Definately saw results

I also love Revlon ColorStay makeup in the palest shade. I’ve used that for years and found it was one of few foundations that wasn’t too dark. Hope that helps, Cx

Oh, thanks ladies. I think it may have a little to do with the photographer’s awesome skills, but I’m currently using Almay Smart Shade Anti-Aging Makeup (in the palest shade) and mixing a drop of MAC Careblends Essential Oil into it to get a dewy finish.
