Le Tan was born in 1977 as a high quality sunscreen created for Australian conditions by an Australian family. Its name comes from the prevalent desire of the time to be bronzed and tanned, and while attitudes towards the sun, burning and tanning changed over the years, Le Tan’s mission to offer Aussies top sun protection has been constant. Today it’s the brand recommended by Surf Life Saving Australia, and it includes a top-selling fake tanning range.
