Behind the brand

Clearasil is the brand that “helps fight pimples fast”, featuring active ingredients like benzoyl peroxide, triclosan and salicylic acid. It was invented in the U.S. in 1950 by Ivan Combe and chemist Kedzie Teller, and more than fifty years later it continues to be a favourite with young men and women trying to shoo away annoying acne.
