I don’t know how I went through life not knowing a thing about Trilogy Rosehip Oil but thanks to Primped I’m now a massive fan and I feel it’s my duty to help spread the word about this hugely awesome bottle of goodness. Just a few drops goes a long way so at about 20 bucks a bottle, you’d be hard pressed to find better value for money. Benefits you can expect from this puppy include smoother, softer and plumper skin and I find it helps even my skin tone too. I’d put money on it that you won’t regret this purchase.

Trilogy is well known for it’s organic products which works, and this product is no different. I have found this is to be a great multi-functioning product and has become a staple in my routine. It is a ochre fluid, which comes in a dripolator applicator. A few drops are enough to cover my entire face, and it absorbs beautifully into my skin and leaves it plump and dewy. Along with it’s anti-aging benefits, what more can a girl ask for?

This is the best rosehip oil I have tried. I really like the bottle, it has a dropper in the lid, which makes getting the perfect amount out so easy. A few drops goes a long way.
I use this morning and night between cleansing and moisturising and it has improved the texture and clarity of my skin so much. I have quite oily skin and my skin just loves this stuff. I love that it is natural and that Trilogy are such an amazing company.
Rosehip oil is probably one of the single greatest things you can buy to love your skin. Get some now.

This is such a winner product! I searched for ages for a moisturiser that would give the elusive glow-ey look, and this is it! Great in winter and summer, I usually it after cleansing in the evening, and (especially if my face is a little dry) I mix it with my facial sunscreen in the morning to make it easier to spread across my face and also give it an antioxidant boost. Good value, and if you’re looking into more natural skin care approach, rosehip oil is a great place to start!

As well as using over my entire face to balance my sebum production, I slather this shiz all around my eyes. It really hydrates and fills out those smile lines, especially under make up so that delicate area actually looks like skin, and not like the crepe paper tossed in with my niece’s art and craft supplies.

LOVE THIS!!! It’s truly amazing.. i use it every night before bed, and sometimes if my skins really dull i put on before makeup. It will leave your skin plumper and more hydrated. I’m 20, so i don’t have fine lines yet but i definitely feel good using this on my skin every night as a preventative measure. I have recommended this to all my friends and would definitely recommend to you!!

Rosehip oil is fantastic! I feel like it does what I would expect a $100+ face serum to do. I mostly use it at night time, all over my face. I do have oily skin, but I also have dry patches. It doesn’t make my skin more oily or greasy than usual, and I have noticed an improvement on dry areas.

  • Posted by: MadisonC Enthusiast // Wed, 15 December 2010 08:40am

I love this product! my skin feels quite amazing afterwards, but you do have to limit your products with it (e.g don’t use before or after a serum).

Great to use at night every couple of nights; more than that I find it makes my pores look larger. Good tip from Primped!

If you haven’t tried this product, get yourself to the nearest stockist! It will be the best $20 you’ll ever spend on yourself and your skin will love you for it. Look forward to plumper skin and even skin tone – yay!!

I adore the entire Trilogy range but the rosehip oil is in a category of it’s own. It is truly a wonder product – it moisturises and plumps beautifully, especially around the fine lines near my eyes. For those oily skinned girls like me, it does not cause your skin to become oilier or break you out. I love that this is a natural product.

Trilogy Rosehip Oil really is amazeing, I use it daily on my face and can be incorporated with your favourite moisturiser, leaves your skin looking revived, radiant and so healthy, soft, supple, feels so lush and smooth, I also like to use it on my hands! It is beneficial for your skin and so gentle to use. Only needing a small amount ( a few drops ), it goes a long way. It enhances your beauty inside and out…naturally. Makes me feel good knowing this product works so well and doesn’t ‘cost the earth’!

I am so glad I bought this. I’ve only been using it a little while and it has cleared up my dry skin. I thought because it was an oil it would make my skin greasy but it hasn’t. It’s super absorbent and nourishing. A little goes a long way. Very good buy :)

  • Posted by: laura_ Devotee // Tue, 29 March 2011 12:40pm

The thought of parting with my Trilogy Rosehip for even one day makes me feel slightly distressed.
I’m not even kidding, no matter what your skin type is like I guarantee you’ll feel the same after a few weeks of using this miracle in a bottle.
I’m a massive product junkie and constantly chopping and changing products for the sake of it but this will always be in my beauty regime- plus it’s quite affordable as a little goes a long way.

  • Posted by: StuddedTerror Enthusiast // Tue, 29 March 2011 02:01pm

I’m going to be totally honest – this has made me break out once or twice. I don’t know why because I pretty much never do – but for some reason when using this prodct my skin got quite a few spots. Now I wouldn’t take this as gospel, because it could just be my skin reacting to the change in my skincare routine but I don’t know…
Otherwise it is quite a nice serum, definitely feels more moisturised than with just a normal moisturiser. I’m not the biggest fan of the smell but it smells very organic and definitely not perfumed.

Mum’s been onto this stuff for a few years now, and although I’m still a bit far off considering aging, I absolutely love how this stuff. Easily my favourite beauty product of them all!

I particularly like to slather it on before steaming my face when my skin is feeling dry, or adding a couple of drops to my regular night moisturiser. It’s also AMAZING on sunburnt skin.

  • Posted by: nita01 Master Fan // Fri, 1 April 2011 10:10pm

One of my favourite skincare products that I use every single night. I use it all over my face but especially on some pigmentation I have on my face and also over some scars I have from cancers being frozen off. It’s an amazing serum/oil. It does work and helps my skin heal faster. I also dab some on my deeper wrinkles. It can be used for many things and is a must have in the bathroom cupboard.

  • Posted by: lasconosciuta Enthusiast // Tue, 5 April 2011 11:12am

Indeed, this is a great product, you needn’t use much of it just a drop or two and even mix it wth your moisturiser so you don’t have to use much of your moistueriser either! It conditions and softens the skin really well, but in order to avoid too much of an oily feeling, make sure you rub it in properly.

  • Posted by: Alexandra-1293437712 Enthusiast // Mon, 11 April 2011 12:26pm

This product has single-handedly made my skin look much for radiant and smooth. You only need a little bit (2-3 drops) and it sinks into your skin like no other.

Everyone needs this nifty little product and at only 20 dollars… there really is no excuse.

    Bonus – its organic!

  • Posted by: jacasaurus Enthusiast // Mon, 11 April 2011 01:09pm

I have used Rosehip Oil for quite sometime and Trilogy’s organic one has to be the best I’ve used!
It makes your skin soft and supple and even helps with normalising breakouts and oiliness. I only use a little bit, every other night when my skin needs a boost.
    A small wonder!

I love this product! It’s amazing! I use it nightly on top of my vitamin a cream. My boyfriend also uses it for his skin, and also his brother uses it as they both have sensitive skin. It has really helped balance out my skin tone and it has become a lot more radiant. 5 stars!

  • Posted by: Louise-1295043242 Master Fan // Wed, 13 April 2011 03:07pm

Ooh this iss fantastic… rosehip oil is one of natures ‘wonder’ treatments, particularly for women!!

I have stretchmarks (there I said it, I know most people have them just don’t want to admit it) and this is great on them -reduces the redness and appearance!

Also being in a dark amber colour bottle the product lasts longer (in clear bottles any type of oil will go rancid, particularly essential oils -do your oils and perfumes a favour and put them out of direct sunlight) and its a great price!

  • Posted by: muso Master Fan // Fri, 15 April 2011 02:20pm

I think this product is more suitable for people with normal/dry skin. I find it can be too oily for my combination/oily skin, especially in summer. It’s thicker and more orangey than other brand of rosehip oils I’ve tried.

  • Posted by: bluebird Master Fan // Mon, 9 May 2011 04:22pm

After using another brand which I was very happy with for a few months I tried the Trilogy RHO and was a little disappointed. The Trilogy product performs as well as the other product but has quite a strong smell which is almost a fishy odour. Unfortunately I can’t recommend this product for that reason.
I only bought it instore recently from Priceline and I have stored it correctly.

A honestly natural oil that helps even my complexion. I noticed it had a sort of healing effect and of course very hydrating. I used it as a night treatment and in the morning my face was not oily – just looked healthy and rejuvenated.

I’d definitely use this again and I love it’s natural ingredients. I expect this would be great for all skin types.

I started using this product to help fade acne scarring I had in several areas on my face. Not only did it significantly fade my acne scars but it also made my face look really glowy after years on pimples.

I’ve also turned my friends onto it and they really love it as well.

What an amazing prod. Just started using it and it really is such a multipurpose product! I use it just as a simple night serum after my cleanse and it really makes my skin glow! Its the only rosehip oil on the market that has had clinical trials where its proven to reduce the signs of wrinkles and scars. But even if ur not into all that its just such a good thing to use to nourish ur skin! so its perfect for those with sensitive skin with its all natual products!!

  • Posted by: avaadorapolly Enthusiast // Thu, 28 July 2011 02:46am

Awesome product. I lean towards more organic products for my face and the product is amazing. Great to use a a night moisturiser. I find that when I wake up in the morning my skin looks clearer, spots are less evident, and I don’t have and dullness under my eyes. In the long it has really helped to brighten my skin and even out my complexion. Highly reccommend.

    This is a miracle product.

I started using this to fade my acne scars and it has pretty much solved every skin issue I had. I use it after cleansing day and night. It’s so nourishing I use it as my day moisturiser.

My skin is really dry and often gets oily in the T-zone to compensate. My skin just drinks up this oil like it’s going out of fashion. It has never left my skin oily or caused it any problems. I’ve stopped breaking out all together now and my face is much glowier and radiant.

This rose-hip oil is also a great multi-tasker. I use it on my neck and chest to fight signs of past sun abuse, on my lips and on my cuticles.

Even with my constant over use, this cheap bottle of skin-love has lasted over a couple of months <3

Left my face smooth and less pigmenty.Soaks into your skins straight away. If I have some trouble spots I can still use it under my daily makeup.

It’s also great to use on sensitive skin and breakouts

  • Posted by: andee Enthusiast // Mon, 19 September 2011 12:49pm

Amazing, amazing stuff! Fades spots and blemished from breakouts and evens my skin tone. Sometimes I get a dry flaky scalp right at the start of my hairline and rubbing a bit of rosehip oil on these spots helps hydrate my scalp without making my hair oily.

I’ve used this product for five years and swear by it!

I have dry, sensitive skin and this is the only thing that keeps my skin hydrated through winter. It’s also wonderful for sun damage and by far is my number one skincare product.

A lovely product. It makes my skin feel smooth and supple and it’s never oily. Time will tell whether or not it’s anti-ageing properties will work for me but for the meantime I’m happy to stick with it. Also lovely to see a product that promises so much at a reasonable price.

I’m hooked on this rosehip oil, I have been using it every day for a week and already I am starting to notice the difference – my skin is softer, clear and less irritated. The scars I have are fading too – I would recommend this product to absolutely anyone who cares about their skin.

    Loving this stuff!
It’s so moisturising with out being greasy, which is fantastic for my dry skin – it’s now glowing.
Also my makeup sits so much better on my skin since I’ve been using this.
There is no unpleasant smell either.

I wanted to try Rosehip Oil ever since I heard Miranda Kerr loves it. I chose the Trilogy one becuase its organic and cheap!!! I’m happy to see that it works really well. It makes my skin really glowy and although I have oily skin it still feels okay AND it doesn’t cause breakouts. The only problem is it smells pretty bad.

You can not go wrong with rosehip oil, i like to put it on after Ive washed my face and its still damp, it sinks in better that way

Great everyday serum. Improves the tone, clarity and brightness of my skin. A little goes a long way. I do prefer the Akin version though as it sinks in quicker and is cheaper

At first my sensitive skin completely rejected this rosehip oil, but I persisted and I mix it with my daily moisturiser. I have noticed that my skin texture has changed for the better and it is much smoother and moisturised.

This is a good quality rose hip oil. It has a lovely organic scent which is very pleasant. I find this rose hip oil to be very gentle on my skin so it would be a great product for people with sensitive skin. It comes in a small bottle with a droplet applicator making it very easy to use and apply. Simply massage 2-3 drops into clean, damp skin morning and night. After use my skin feels softer, smoother and nourished. I find it to be very good at healing small scars and damaged skin. Trilogy is one of my favourite natural skin care brands and I would happily recommend this rose hip oil to others.

  • Posted by: balletdoll Enthusiast // Mon, 29 September 2014 12:44pm

This is my holy grail-cannot live without product. I usually add 3-4 drops into my emulsion or light moisturiser and then apply all over my face, neck and decolletage. Even when applied by itself it skins into my skin and does not leave it feeling oily.

My skin tone has significantly improved since I started using this rosehip oil, although I still have significant acne scarring. Without this in my routine my skin looks duller.

  • Posted by: lesleyh Enthusiast // Mon, 7 December 2015 02:15pm

This is the first time I have used a Trilogy brand product. Packaging is in a tinted glass bottle and comes with a dropper which is very handy allowing you to control the amount of oil used. The oil itself has a lovely nutty fragrance with a bright yellow colour which truly makes me believe it is a high quality oil and is quite rich in texture as expected. I only need a small amount on either the face or neck and is very nourishing and softens my skin instantly . Best of all it is absorbent so does not leave an overly greasy feeling . It maybe a little too rich for oily skin but will certainly suit dry to very dry types . A great quality oil .
