Beach Holiday….and need of make up!

Righto,

This’ll sound a bit precious to many of you! I’m a huge make up fan. Huge. Wear it everyday. Have for about 12 days. Can’t fathom what going out the door without foundation looks like. Also, it covers my blemish skin which i don’t love (and am still in serach of a miracle product...i’ve tried every potion in town!).

Any-hoo...heading off on a lovely jubbly beach holiday which involves snorkelling & frolicking on the beach with the boyf. I’m not good at not wearing make up. Not good at all. Any suggestions on how I can still look pretty, and even skin toned whilst playing in water? I’m off to start collecting every kind of liquid mineral makeup & heavily tinted moisturiser i can this week, but suggestions loved, needed, welcomed.
Zoe really made me think about this with her column yesterday in the paper. Do not want to see photos of pimply faces!

Thanks primpers!

Invisible Zinc Tinted Daywear!!!  I cannot recommend this enough.  I wore it for maximum sun protection and skin-tone coverage on a beach holiday recently.  It DOES. NOT. BUDGE.  I also recommend a tubing mascara like Clinique Lash Power because it won’t come off in cold water, no matter how much you swim.  Add a cheek stain like Becca Beach Tint or Benefit Benetint.  Anything more than this really will come off in the water - that’s all you need to look pretty and photogenic.  Have fun! PS - IZ Tinted Daywear is great for blemish-prone skin because the zinc content is calming and healing.  Just be sure to remove it with a double-cleanse.

I agree - Invisible Zinc Tinted Daywear or you could also try HissyFit. I think HissyFit gives more coverages BUT it does seem a little bit sticky on the face. I like the IZ better.

Go to your nearest MAC store and get their FULL COVERAGE foundation, you can go diving and still look flawless, but no guarantees on how your blemishes will cope haha!

And, Maybelline’s Great Lash waterproof mascara.
