Video: How To: shu uemura’s brand spanking new Égérie makeup collection

Well Primpers, I just couldn’t keep myself away for 3 weeks without doing at least one little video in the interim. You know me, never one to shy away from the camera, and today, I present to you the brand new shu uemura Égérie makeup collection. It’s pastel, pretty and oh so very wearable. As you’re about to see in this handy video I’ve whipped up as I sit poolside (or maybe I was clever and did it before I left).

But firstly, some background. Égérie is the brands spring/summer 2010 collection and if you cast your mind back to when Zo and I were blogging extensively from the S/S ‘10 shows, you’ll remember that pastels were a HUGE hit on the runway. It’s only fitting then that shu have come out with this delightfully soft, pretty collection that’s massively modern and charming and a little bit daring, too.

Here’s the visual...

That’s what I love so much about shu, their creations are futuristic and fashion forward, yet not at all scary when you put them on. It’s not an easy thing to do, you know Primpers, but I think these guys have it down pat.

Anyway, here’s my take on the collection...

And here are the products from the range...

And as always, here are some pics from me...

shu uemura is available exclusively at David Jones.

So, what do you think of the collection?
Have you experimented with these shades before?
Have you been to the Tokyo Lash Bar before?

Oh Yas, you’re glowing as usual!

Ever since being addicted to Primped, my wallet has been significantly lighter. My experimentation for make-up has increased, much to the dismay of my fellow housemates.

The green mint eyeshadow is gorgeous! I can’t wait to try this out.
