Stalked: Karl (aka the chick brave enough to cut off her hair and dye it black)

Primpers, meet Karl Angela here who just farewelled her long bleached hair in a bid to return to her natural colour (really? Wow). But, it seems that going from blonde to black wasn’t quite enough for brave little Karl so she decided to chop it off into this adorable Dannii-esque, Cleopatra-stylin’ bob (minus the fringe). Pair that with a rocking winged eyeliner (probably the most popular PRIMPED look so far) and natural cheeks and you’ve got yourself one seriously on-trend Primpy. Check her out.

It’s always fun to explore the notion of changing your hair colour. Zo and I rumble with the idea on a daily basis. Should I go blonde? What about really black? Perhaps we should just settle for ballayage so we can happily sit somewhere in between. Yes, that’s an idea. But when you actually take the plunge and go for that change, I find it SO REWARDING. It’s like stripping off your bikini and running into the waves at Bondi Beach (apparently, I’m not really into public nudity). So good on you Karl, well done. Bravo. Especially taking your colour back to its natural state. I couldn’t even tell you what my natural hair colour was. I think it’s a weird moussy brown, nothing I’d really want to go back to but when you’ve got a lovely, dark, solid colour like yourself, it’s probably a good thing. Don’t you agree, Primpers?
As for Karl’s haircut, well, that particular little crop is one of my favourites at the moment. It really suits Dannii Minogue, I reckon and I think maybe even Kylie should rock it out, too. I know that Karls’ hasn’t got the fringe attached but perhaps that’s something to consider for next time? I think with hair this length, giving it a little fringe makes it super modern.
Here’s Dannii:

While many people think that short hair means more maintenance, on the contrary, Primpers, it’s actually far less time consuming. Sure, you may have to ‘style’ it a more to get all those kinks and curls out, but generally the shorter your hair, the less time you need to spend on it.
Overall, I think that Karl has done a SPLENDID job here. Her winged eyeliner is perfect, to the point where I’m looking at it so close to the screen my eyes are burning, just ‘cos I can’t believe anyone can get a line that straight.
What do you think of Karl here, Primpers?
Are you having a short hair moment or is long hair more your thing?
What’s your natural hair colour, can you even remember?

aww thanks for the comments.. re the fringe, it’s kinda hard to maintain it with my naturally wavy hair but i’ll graciously consider it. maybe it’s time to be bestfriends with my ghd ;p with the eyeliner, i reckon it’s a formula of patience and practise, you primpers will surely get it right

Oh, I really love Dannii’s hair here. I think Karl should definitely get a fringe happening to complement her amazing winged eyeliner.
