Hello Primpers, I’m home and packed with news…

So much news I’m not sure where to begin. My time in Asia taught me many, many things including that you can, in fact, suffer from massage overload. I know, nuts right? Right. It also taught me that getting my hair permanently straightened before a trip to the muggy shores of Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand is probably the best decision of my life. But I’ll get to all that later, for now, I’d like to introduce you to my new favourite beauty products that’s pretty much changed my life, Primpers. Check her out, she’s adorable.
Now, I’ll warn you in advance that she’s not new. She’s not some massively high-tech skincare serum that promises eternal youth and no more blackheads. In fact, she’s been around for years, is organic, oily and protected my skin from a multitude of potential shitty things like drying out after a long plane flight, peeling after spending a little too much time getting Vitamin D and helping the big ass scar on my leg heal even faster. All in all, let’s just say she’s a WINNER!!
Here’s what I’m talking about, Primpers.
Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil, $35 45ml.

Now I’m sure many of you have already explored the wonders of Rosehip Oil. If you haven’t, I suggest you jump on board this luxury cruiser as soon as you can say ‘amazing skin’.
Why I love it:
- After spending 10 hours passed out on a plane that was intent on sucking the life out of my skin, Rosie protected me and said skin remained hydrated. Handy when travelling, trust me.
- After enjoying a little too much time poolside, I was a disgrace to all beauty editors out there and got myself somewhat sunkissed. Read: Burnt. Or perhaps even fried. I know, I know, I am the queen of nagging when it comes to sun protection and I slipped up. Trust me, Primpers, I won’t be doing that again. Anyway, I mixed Rosie with my body lotion and within 3 days, burn was banished. Amazing.
- It helps heal scars. To cut a very long story short, or whatever they say, I cut my leg on Christmas Day. It wasn’t pretty. I needed stitches and all that stuff and as a result, I’ve now got a rather gross scar on my leg. Cue in Rosie, who is slowly (but surely) helping gross scar heal rather nicely, thank you.
So many more tales to tell, Primpers but I’ll get to them later. For now though, I want to know if you’ve tried Rosehip Oil before?
Do you love it?
What did you use it for. Wrinkles, scars, stretch marks?

Best stuff. Using it for a spot on face I have after getting sunspot lasered off. Works brilliantly for cleaning up skin tone too (use it all over a night cream), also brilliant for under mineral makeup. Do not settle for cheaper option - use this one it works!

I am currently trying Araucana rosehip oil- it’s organic and imported from chile. It’s premium rosehip oil and waaaaaay better than anything else I’ve tried. I have very sensitive skin and it’s been amazing for me.

I’ve used it since I heard Zoe rated it on fruitybeauty. I love it and have quite sensitive skin. I don’t get that awful sweaty feel that moisturiser sometimes gives me. Also, once it has sunk in my skin looks really nice - not all red like it normally looks after taking of makeup and showering.

I’ve tried Trilogy rosehip oil before but sadly, it burnt my skin… I don’t know why but it just stings :( So I gave it to my mum instead, she loved it though

I’ve heard this is good as an everyday beauty step… but how do you use it???
Do you put it on before moisturizer? Or instead of moisturizer?
