• Name: Yasemin Turker
    Role: Editor
Thinks she is heaps good at: Illuminated cheekbones

Yasemin Turker has always had a penchant for beauty products, treatments, writing and pampering in general: a prime candidate for a beauty journalist. Having started her career as beauty assistant at marie claire, learning 285 ways to look gorgeous and get glowing, Yasemin moved over to beauty edit a weekly gossip magazine, Famous. There she learned that Katherine Heigl loves Kerastase Conditioner because, “It smells like fresh laundry,” and that Ashlee Simpson has unbelievably sensitive skin. Now at PRIMPED, Yas is immersed in the world of widgets and webby stuff, but with the tasty flavour of beauty (phew). Scanning all the latest news, reviews and product launches, she’s a little beauty Cluedo, deciphering all the best (and worst) beauty snippets and dishing them out with fun and finesse and a totally fashion-forward fringe.

  • Name: Zoe Foster
    Role: Editor at Large
Thinks she is heaps good at: A brown smoky eye

Zoë Foster gets exceptionally shirty when she hasn’t eaten and often forgets who she was emailing when she is faced with a blank To: line. She is the author of Air Kisses (Penguin, 2008), was beauty and lifestyle editor of Cosmopolitan magazine, beauty director of Harper’s BAZAAR magazine and is the owner and boss lady of fruitybeauty.com.au. She’s rubbish at applying liquid eyeliner and curling her hair with a ghd, even though she’s been taught how to do each maybe 46 times. She tells people that having such flaws in her line of work “makes her human,” which not only makes her sound incredibly arrogant, but like a defensive loser and a bad student also.

  • Name: Cherie Herrmann
    Role: Beauty Writer
Thinks she is heaps good at: Slip, slop and slapping

Cherie Herrmann believes that sunscreen is the best invention yet. She’s a lover of skincare products, but vows never to leave makeup and hair feeling like the neglected middle child. After all, it’s her job as a beauty writer to not make anyone feel left out (although we all know who our favourites are). While completing her journalism degree, Cherie dabbled in the print industry before landing on PRIMPED’s doorstep. It was here that she tripped over a pile of lip glosses and fell deeply in love with the online world. Of course, it helped that PRIMPED was a pretty lady dressed in purple, who’s totally cool with you painting your nails at your desk and ever so encouraging of a bright red lip. Now she’s here, she plans on giving you all the goss on the latest products, trends and beauty launches as they happen. With a sweet smile and perfectly sunscreened face, of course.
